Suzanne C. Walker is a native of the West Coast. She grew up in Monmouth, Oregon, and moved with her family to Ames, Iowa while in high school. Upon graduation from high school, she again moved east with her family, to West Lafayette, Indiana. She attended Purdue University, and completed her B.A. in Psychology in 1991. After college, she did social work with mentally ill adults in Chicago for three years before moving back to West Lafayette to complete her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology.

In 1998, Suzanne married her best friend, Bill, and they now have four children (Maggie, Molly, Sam, and Charlie). Her family is her center, and she can frequently be found happily snapping away on her camera while playing with her kids (each of whom emitted a high-pitched “CHEESE” as their first word). Photography, design, and art have been hobbies she has loved for several years, and she hopes to always continue to learn, grow and try new things in these media.

She began scrapbooking when her oldest daughter, Maggie, was about 3 months old, and stumbled upon digital scrapbooking in January 2003, never to glance back at her paper supplies or funky-edged scissors. She loves the freedom that digital scrapbooking allows in style, content and presentation. She has been published in Making Memories, Simple Scrapbooks, Creating Keepsakes, and Better Homes and Gardens, among other familiar publications.

She is impulsive (dug and landscaped a fish pond in her back yard the week before her wedding), loyal and loving (would do just about anything for her Cool-Mom Club girls), and hates meatloaf with a consuming passion.
Suzanne has also developed several photography classes for Digital Scrapbook University. Visit DSU to see Suzanne's class list.

DSP Shindig
[4 of 5 Stars]

"Used this font for a LO I did of my daughter eating cotton candy (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=101100&cat=500&ppuser=27880). I found it perfect for a "whimsical" feel for the title. It's a fun, casual font that I'm sure will be useful in future LOs. One that I'll be able to use again and again! (Thanks, Suzanne!)"

Photo Borders Stamp Set 2
[5 of 5 Stars]

"This is another one of those basics, like flour and sugar in a kitchen, that you need to have on hand . . . . these borders just provide the finishing touch to any picture and save a whole lot of time. You wil use these over and over and over. Great idea Suzanne."

"I'm so glad I got this font!! I love those decorative dots on it - it's quite unique and it's such a happy-looking font!! :D I belive it'll be very versatile too. I've only used it for a title so far but it would do wonderfully for journaling and sub-titles as well. I've also seen it used for different types of LOs in the galleries and the font just lights up the LOs! It is truly an awesome font and well worth the money not only for its looks but for its versatility!"

DSP Pollyanna Font
[5 of 5 Stars]

"I love this stamped-look font. Leave it as is for that stamped look or recolor it or fill it with pattern for a fun twist."

Gappy BackPack
[5 of 5 Stars]

"I love the rich colors and textures of this BP, plus it is so versatile. The swirls remind me of something more formal, but the scratches and grunge would also be darling for a dirty little boy. Awesome!"

Ornate Edges Overlay Set
[5 of 5 Stars]

"Just love these overlays . . . . .they always add that little bit extra to your layout and finish off the edges. Easily re-coloured to match or co-ordinate the colour scheme of your layout, these should be a staple in anyone's digital scrapping stash as they can be used over and over again. Suzanne, thanks for always coming up your sense of fun and flourish in your designing."
